A Therapy Approach That Helps Your Mind and Body Work Together

This is therapy that helps you feel like yourself down to your bones. You learn how your mind and body respond to different situations, why you feel the way you do, and how to change it. Instead of just managing symptoms, you develop emotional strength, nervous system regulation, and clearer self-understanding so you can move forward with confidence.

Most therapy focuses on keeping people functioning. In the Sanctum Clinic you actually grow.

You need support that matches the complexity of your life.

Are You Feeling Anxious, Overwhelmed, Burnt Out, or Stuck?

You might be dealing with anxiety that won’t settle, burnout from carrying too much, trauma that shows up in your body, or the constant emotional load of parenthood. You may be neurodivergent and exhausted from masking or working twice as hard to keep up with expectations. Maybe a huge life event has rocked you.

You’ve been holding everything together for so long that falling apart isn’t an option, but neither is continuing the way things are.

You want someone who understands the real weight you’re carrying. Someone who can help you make sense of your reactions, your patterns, and your pain. Someone who can help you change what’s happening.

Who Psycho-somatic Therapy Is Best For

This work is ideal for people who want therapy that is practical, real, and grounded in everyday life.

It’s for people who want to understand their emotional patterns and shift them, not just survive them.

This is for you if you are experiencing:

Ongoing anxiety or overwhelm

Chronic stress or burnout

Trauma responses that show up in the body

Parenting identity strain and emotional overload

Neurodivergence (ADHD, autism, masking fatigue, sensory overwhelm)

Difficulty slowing down or switching off

Feeling “stuck” despite being highly capable

You've tried therapy and/or coaching but nothing has worked

If you want real change, you’re in the right place.

Why This Therapy Works

When Other Support Hasn’t

After years of working with high-capacity individuals, ND adults, overwhelmed parents, and people carrying old trauma in their bodies, a clear truth has emerged. Most people are not struggling because there is something wrong with them. They are struggling because their experiences have never been understood at the level that they were actually happening: in the body, the emotions, the nervous system, and the mind all at once.

Traditional therapy often targets symptoms. This work targets the whole human.

You are supported to understand your emotional reactions, understand your own system, process what’s unresolved, and tap into strengths that stay with you and serve you beyond resolving any struggle you may be encountering.

Your sensitivity becomes intelligence.
Your history becomes wisdom.
Your body becomes an ally instead of a threat.

This is therapy built for the way real people actually live.

we are a bridge between traditional therapy and modern day coaching

Research shows that long-term health and life satisfaction improves most when symptom reduction is combined with the development of personal strengths, not one or the other.

MEET THE FOUNDER & Clinical lead

I'm Rebecca

I’ve spent two decades walking beside people through their most transformational seasons, blending clinical training with lived experience.

With postgraduate training across behavioural science, trauma, and human consciousness studies, alongside two decades immersed in both Western psychology and Indigenous practice, my work redefines what it means to be successful, centring personal desire, awe, and embodied leadership at the core of sustainable impact.

Through one-on-one, workshops and programs, I support people who are reshaping their life to reconnect to their innate intelligence and lead from desire.

I know how to support you to make the exact, focused changes to stop wasting your energy on things that don't make a difference, and can support you to put your attention and energy into the things that will alter the course of your future for more personal fulfilment.

Client Results

All our work within the Sanctum Clinic is confidential and private. Every client is unique and their results are their own. We work with you to achieve the outcomes you desire.

Research shows that the strongest predictor of positive outcomes from therapy and long-lasting change is the therapeutic relationship, complimented by therapist skill and the engagement level of the client (i.e . how much you are willing to devote to your own process of change).

A few of our past clients have offered these small snippets of their experiences of working with Rebecca, so that you can get a feel for the type of therapeutic relationship that is waiting for you.

"I find Rebecca to be deeply knowledgeable and able to provide great insight on everything that has come up in our sessions. She is always quick to pull out examples and information and insight no matter what problems I present with on the day."

"Rebecca meets you where you’re at and on all the levels you need her to. Her ability to hold and mirror back to you is beyond any other therapist I’ve engaged. Rebecca is open and honest & a safe space to land with."

"This has been pivotal for me in unlocking the safety in the body piece which has been keeping me in a 5 steps forward, 4 steps back pattern for years."

"Rebecca can relate to you in such a way that it is like you are talking to the parts of yourself that you are exploring, but with enough distance and professionalism that you do not get lost. Her fusion of research, practical experience, trauma understanding and spirituality is so grounded and embodied, that complex and new perspectives or practices come across as common sense."

CommonQuestionsWe Get Asked

I struggle to put into words what I am feeling/experiencing, is that a problem?

One of the key strengths of our clinic is words are just the icing on the cake. Whilst psychotherapy is often seen as 'talk therapy', with a skilled therapist you don't need verbal clarity. Rebecca is highly skilled in seeing, feeling and sensing with you and many clients appreciate the way she can help bring that verbal clarity to things that feel impossible to explain.

Is this suitable for neurodivergent adults and do I need a diagnosis to get support for my neurodivergence

Rebecca is a self diagnosed neurodivergent person whose passion is working with late diagnosed adults, or adults who wonder if they are neurodivergent or 'is it something else?'.

Whilst a diagnosis may be useful in accessing support and understanding what is happening for you currently, many people receive a diagnosis and then struggle with 'but what do I need to do now?'. Diagnosis itself is not a solution to the problems that neurodivergent people face, and Rebecca specialises in the process of integrating this awareness into growing a life that allows you to be who you are in the world.

Do you work with trauma?

Rebecca has spent her career working with and training in trauma support, recovery and post-traumatic growth. Many trauma-informed coaching and therapy services do not truly understand the complex and multifaceted nature of working with trauma, meaning clients often end up in a holding pattern in their life coping to varying degrees, without thriving. In the Sanctum Clinic we have a multifaceted, individualised approach to working with you in your unique trauma process, allowing you to access your power, autonomy and confidence to be who you are in the world beyond coping.

Is online therapy effective?

Honestly, not always. Depending on your requirements sometimes physical connection is required. However, Rebecca has over a decade of experience working with people online with fantastic results and has developed techniques that bridge the distance in many instances. Rebecca has clients in the US, UK, Europe, South Africa, Canada, South America, Mexico and NZ, as well as across Australia. If you feel called to working with Rebecca we encourage you to try it and Rebecca will explore with you to see if online is going to work for your unique needs.

How long does therapy take?

The Sanctum Clinic is a session by session service, meaning you always have power and autonomy over your process and can participate for as long as and at the pace that is right for you. No more getting trapped in contracts that add financial strain or fear of making a mistake. On average, our clients tend to come for fortnightly sessions for 3-12 months initially, and notice significant shifts in themselves and their lives within the first month. Our goal is always to graduate you from therapy into being a powerful individual with many skills to support yourself.

What happens in a session?

Every 60 minute session looks different. Rebecca does not work with a set methodology, drawing from many evidence based practices and different techniques (all in consultation with your desires for our time together). Sometimes in session there is a lot of discussion, sometimes not. We may explore things on a whiteboard together, we may sit and feel things in our bodies together. It is a very creative process, all designed to achieve your intention for the session.

Generally, any follow up from last session will happen first, then we will explore an intention for this session together and Rebecca will facilitate a process with you to achieve that. In the final 15 minutes we will review and identify what is most supportive for you to focus on between now and the next session, to support your longer term growth.

You are welcome to bring items to session that make you feel comfortable, such as fidgets, blankets, drinks or a journal. Rebecca almost always has a hot drink in hand! There is no need to dress up or be any particular way. If you are online please make sure you are somewhere you feel is private and be able to focus (i.e not driving). It is your choice if your children are present or not, however please be aware that with children present we will be ensuring their wellbeing as well as your own and this can impact how we explore some things and the time available to us.
