your life is the masterpiece

A 6 month guided experience into play, pleasure and revelling in your creative spirit.

fuck healing,

let's create

if you are over 'doing the work', if you are sick of the doom scroll and focusing on everything that is wrong in the world...

if you have a desire to create something different that puts a smile on your face and lights you up from the inside out...

this is for you.

we forgot that half of

the hero's journey is play

You love to create, but it is always for a purpose.

Another marketing post.

A new program.

Graphics design and copywriting.

Public speaking.

Lesson planning.

Cooking for the family.

Making money to pay rent.

Designing other peoples realities.

You have the enthusiasm, but the moment you approach playing with creating for your own pleasure, something goes sideways.

You get productive instead of playful.

You get strategic and overthink it.

You procrastinate and can't get started.

And you know it is falling flat. That the real creative potential inside you is still trapped.

The book you've always wanted to write.

The doodling and sketching you say you want to do.

The instrument you want to learn.

The performance you dream of giving.

At some point it's time to choose to have fun and remember how to play.

This is that point in your journey.

I want to write 13 fantasy novels

As a child I would spend hours making up stories and writing them on paper in my childish hand. Fantasy stories were my safe haven and I found endless pleasure and joy in them.

At age 12 I got a scholarship to a prestigious school as a result of my prowess at taking a person on a wild adventure with my words. By 15 I was winning fiction literary awards.

Then I had to start thinking about what I would do after school in an era before online blogging and social media. I had to think of getting a 'real job'. So I put my writing to work and focused on assignments, then on producing reports and copy for my workplace. Over the years I would pick up an art brush, I would crochet on the odd occasion, but my head was filled with ministerial speaking points, media releases and board documents. I eventually found a job that allowed me to storytell again. But only real life stories, because the world was a hard place and people were in pain. I wrote 3 books to help people and I produced thousands of articles.

After years of 'doing the work', I found myself having the recurring dream of an old lady. She was sitting at a desk and was signing books. She was laughing. She was cheeky. She was alive and I got the impression she did not care much about anything. I asked her 'who are all these books for?' And she said 'why, you dearie'. Then I would wake up.

My shamanic teacher suggested I try ask a different question, that this was spirit playing games with me, encouraging me to open up to something as I underwent my 45 year rite of passage.

The next time I dreamt of the old lady, I asked her "why did you write these books?". And she said "for fun, dearie". And I saw on the spine of the books stacked next to her my own name: Rebecca Park.

I woke up knowing, over the next 26 years I was going to write 13 fantasy novels. I was going to do it for me. I was going to do it for fun.

"imagination is more important than knowledge"

psychotherapist, shamanic apprentice & artist

I'm beck

I have the fantastic ability to weave reality with possibility. My day job is to support people all around the world to free their mind from limitations, their bodies from trauma and their spirit from cages.

My passion project is fantasy novel writing. Inspired by the likes of Brendan Sanderson, JRR Tolkien, Robert Jordan, Margaret Weis and Tracy Hickman, I write for fun. For me. I write my fantasy novels because I think a world made only for purpose is devoid of pleasure and that true healing comes when we remember how to play.

I am trained in human behaviour and psychology, and its interplay with soma and spirit.

I didn’t plan on becoming a psychotherapist or a shamanic apprentice.

I just wanted to feel free.

Free to express.

Free to play.

Free to walk my path.

Free to do my souls work.

Turns out a lot of people want that same thing.

Frequently Asked Questions

what if I'm not a 'real artist'?

If you feel the pull to create, you belong here. You don't even need a preferred way of making art (i.e. writing, painting, drawing, making music, dancing, acting) to join. This experience is about becoming an artist in the way you live, not fitting a job label, and experimenting with creation in whatever way you feel called.

What kind of art is this for?

Any form. Writing, visual art, music, performance, design, storytelling, crafting, or an artistic approach to business, parenting and life. Art is everywhere and being made all the time.

I'm busy. How much time will this take?

There will be a 1 hour optional call each week that is scheduled in. However, it is up to you how much time you wish to allocate to this experience. It may be something you do for 10 minutes a day, or for a few hours each week. The focus is on consistency and pleasure, not pressure.

Is this therapy?

No. This is a facilitated experience that is informed by psychological, somatic and spiritual frameworks that support access to and intimacy with the creative life-force within you.

Do I have to share my work publicly

No. Sharing is supported inside of the Image Maker Artist Portal, but never forced. You will be invited to share but it is entirely your choice whether you keep your process private, confidentially within the group, or take it public.

What if I miss a call?

There will be a replay posted inside the Image Maker Artist Portal within 24 hours of the live call being held. You will receive the full experience without attending live calls.

hear from our

creative clients

"Joy rushed through my body and I was a big YES to life! The medicine of aliveness is what touched me deeply and I so thank you."

— Andra

"Do it! Beck will fuck up all your shit, love you in the spots you don't know how to (until you do) and she is fun. Like wee-a-bit-in-your-pants fun."

— Caroline

"I now have moments in my life that I allow myself to not do anything. I give permission to be in the now, no control, schedules, purpose. I stop rushing, looking for the next thing. I allow what is to arise and value that. That has set me free."

— A.W

"Right now what is moving through is an immense appreciation for life's perfection. I feel blessed by the simplicity that has been here all along. I was pressed up against all the 'challenges and complications' and now I can see underneath and beyond them."

— A.S

"The main thing I received is the reminder of why I create in the first place. What makes me come alive? What brings me joy? I feel so incredibly supported in turning my focus towards devotion, joy and unbridled creation. It's actually quite amazing; this is the most harmonious, satisfied, trusting and openly me I have ever felt. This is what I have been wanting all along: this depth, connection to the creative power inside of me and the freedom to be and create without worry."

— Heather
